What is a sheet mask?
Sheet masks are sheet fabrics you place over your face which are soaked in a nutritious serum. Sheet masks are commonly made out of cotton but can also be made from Hydrogel, Bio-Cellulose, Foil & Charcoal. Each mask is targeted to a specific fix whether it’s brightening, hydrating, firming, lifting or targeting acne. Most sheet masks are enriched with aloe extract, green tea, citrus fruit extract, collagen and even snails… yes you read that correctly.
Where do sheet masks originate from?
Sheet masks originated from Japan and South Korea, known for their dedication on cosmetics and skin care. Today, sheet masks are widely popular in Asia as a whole.
How often do you use a sheet mask?
They are designed to be used 2-3 times a week for 15-20 minutes (depending on which mask you’re using). With sheet masks there’s a misconception that if you leave it on your face for longer, the better it will be but that isn’t the case and they should be used as directed.
