Bodysuits You’ll Want To Live In This Spring

The bodysuit is one of my all time favourite clothing item, they’re so simple to style and they’re a wardrobe staple. Bodysuits are a great option to keep your look sleek, their close-to-the-body silhouette also makes them perfect for layering under cardigans or jumpers. They can be worn with all types of trousers and skirts, even joggers! Scroll down to check out some of my favourites to get you through the spring in style. All of these bodysuits are linked and from Pretty Little Thing.

When going casual with your bodysuit choose a simple style in a stretchy jersey material. Simple spaghetti straps or tank tops with fun details like a low back or lace up sides paired with a pair of skinny jeans or shorts can look great. Style with a pair of converse or sandals, a pair of sunglasses and you’re ready to go.

For a workwear outfit, bodysuits with professional necklines and subdued colours look great underneath blazers and jackets.

When you want to get dressed up there’s a whole range of styles you can wear to create a sexy outfit. From lace, mesh, off the shoulder and plunging necklines, paired with jeans or a skirt.

Bodysuits can also be worn as lingerie and can be worn under a slouchy top.

The Best 5 E.L.F Products

I haven’t noticed many people talk about elf cosmetics so when I kept seeing their stand in my local Superdrug I decided to try out a few of their products. I was very impressed, I had to purchase more and I’ve actually saved some money by purchasing elf instead of higher end brands. Personally I would much rather spend £5 on a product than £30. I’m all about cruelty-free products and elf is a cruelty-free brand! Woo! There are a few products that didn’t work well for my skin type however for the price it’s worth your while to test them out! I have left links to each product in case you want to purchase any. Keep scrolling to find out the best elf products I’ve tried over the last few months!

1. Daily Face Cleanser £5

I’ve been using this cleanser for a few weeks and I really like it. It claims to remove dirt, impurities and makeup so you can enjoy brighter skin with a purified water and citric acid infused formula. I think it does exactly what it says and for the price you can’t go wrong.

2. ELF+ Glow Primer Stick £8

This coconut and shea butter infused primer stick claims to hydrate and prep skin for a smooth application and has a hint of golden shimmer to give the skin an instant radiant glow. I particularly have dry areas which my foundation sticks too and when I use this primer it does exactly what it says. Highly recommend this product.

3. Daily Hydration Moisturiser £9

This is one of the best moisturisers I’ve came across, it’s lightweight and very hydrating. It’s infused with jojoba, aloe, shea butter and cucumber as well as antioxidants grape, bilberry and vitamin E.

4. Gentle Peeling Exfoliant £11.50

I’ve been using this for around 4 months and I highly recommend this product, it’s very satisfying. It gently peels away dead skin leaving behind healthy glowing skin. Also this product was the Allure Best of Beauty 2017 Award Winner!

5. Beauty Shield Daily Defence Makeup Mist £9

I was very intrigued when I saw this product and had to try it out. This mist provides a nourishing layer of protection against everyday environmental aggressors. I don’t know if it actually works but for the price I’d much rather purchase this setting spray than anything else.

Top 10 Favourite Makeup Products Under £10

Over the years I’ve definitely tried some crappy drugstore makeup products but I’ve also found some pretty great ones which is why I thought I’d come up with a list of my favourites. Keep scrolling to possibly discover some new products.

1. Primer – E.L.F Prep & Hydrate Balm £9

This is a clear, cooling balm which helps hydrate and prep the skin for makeup application. It’s enriched with Purified Water, Shea and Vitamin E to help nourish and moisturize. I found this has helped with the dry areas on my face and stops foundation from looking cakey.

2. Foundation – Revolution Fast Base Stick £5

This is an easy, quick stick formula that melts into the skin and has a dewy finish, so I wouldn’t recommend if you have oily skin. There’s 18 different shades with a range of undertones, I use shade F1. A little goes a long way with this product.

3. Concealer – Essence Camouflage Matt Concealer £2.80

I first discovered this concealer from Stephanie Toms – Testing New Essence Makeup video. This product claims to cover tattoos and be waterproof. This is definitely a steal! I use shade 10 – Light Rose.

4. Setting Powder – Lottie London Ready, Set! Go £5.45

I feel like finding the perfect setting powder is almost impossible, they’re either too dry or have flashback. I’ve been using this translucent powder for over 4 months now and it’s pretty darn good, but not perfect! However it’s great for my combination skin and I don’t find it to be too drying which is usually the issue.

5. Contour – Revolution Ultra Contour Palette £8

Out of all the different drugstore contouring products this is the best for it’s price. It incudes 8 powders for contouring and sculpting. It’s also Vegan, Cruelty Free & Gluten Free.

6. Brows – Fill + Tame Brow Gel £9.26

I first received this in a monthly subscription of Birchbox and I love it! It’s a light weight water based formula enriched with Aloe Vera which defines and fills the brows without flaking or fading. The gel is available in Blonde, Brunette, Black & Clear.

7. Eyeliner – Revolution Renaissance Flick £5

I’ve been using this eyeliner for over 4 months and I’m yet to purchase a 2nd one. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, with it being a pen it makes it easy to use and draw your liner as long or as thick as you desire.

8. Highlighter – Sleek Solstice Palette £9.99

This is one of the best highlighter palettes I’ve tried, even better than some higher-end products. I’ve had the same palette for other 2 years.. gross I know but there’s still loads of product left!

9. Setting Spray – E.L.F Shield Daily Defence Makeup Mist £9

This claims to help protect your skin against everyday environmental aggressors. The mist is formulated with key Antioxidants, Licorice Extract and Vitamin E. All e.l.f products are free from Parabens, Sulphates and Phthalates.

10. Lip Liner – NYX Mauve Pencil £3.50

NYX lip liners are by far the best I’ve came across. They have a buttery long-lasting formula and you can purchase them at Boots.

Comment below with any of your favourites that I should try out for myself!

Birchbox | February 2019

Good Morning, I hope you’re all having a great Sunday! I really enjoyed writing about the January box I received so I think this will be a reoccurring post. This month Birchbox had partnered with Not On The High Street – the home of thoughtful gifts – to celebrate love in all its forms. The box is called Let It Grow and it’s beautifully designed with flowers.

The first product I saw was from a brand called Anatomicals, a shower gel. It has a subtle floral fragrance and it’s enriched with vitamin E. I am yet to try this product out however I have used a few of their other products and I’m a big fan on this brand. Available at Birchbox RRP £4.

Next is LOC Liquid Shimmer Shadow in Eclipse. I have tried a few products from this brand before and I’ve loved every single one, this is no exception. I was a little sceptical of this with it being a liquid eyeshadow however I’ve been loving it! The formula is water-based which makes it easy to apply, it feels lightweight and comfortable on the lids while providing long-lasting wear. It is only 0.9ml but with it being just £8 I personally think it’s worth the price. Available at Birchbox. 9/10.

This product really caught my interest, it’s a Nourishing Coconut & Fig Hair Masque by Coco & Eve. It claims to repair damage, improve texture and shine, deeply hydrate, fight frizz and seal split ends. I have used this once and I did notice that my hair was smoother and less frizzy, however for the price of a 30ml tube I could probably find one with the same outcome for cheaper. Available at Birchbox. RRP £9.  7/10.

I was happy to see a Luxie 205 Blending Brush, if you read my Glossybox Review you’ll know I received a Luxie 560 Fan Brush. I love the feel of these brushes and I plan on purchasing more. Available at Birchbox. RRP £11. 9/10.

Lastly was a NABLA Cosmetics Diva Crime Lipstick in the shade Cosmic Dancer. I’m always open to trying out new lipsticks so I was very excited to test this out, the formula is lightweight and full coverage with a matte finish. It’s free from silicone and parabens, enriched with Japanese Camellia oil to instantly condition and nourish the lips. Available at Birchbox. RRP £11.90. 9/10.

For those of you wondering if Birchbox is worth it.. I would HIGHLY recommend it! For £10 + postage a month you really can’t go wrong.

The first thing that caught my eye was the beautifully designed box, covered with red and pink love hearts. The products were presented in lovely pink tissue paper and tied with a ribbon. Inside were 5 products plus 2 extra his & hers treats. They were presented on a bed of white shredded tissue paper. I was very impressed with all these products and I was excited to try them out!

As soon as I opened the box I could smell the 2 extras, they were his & hers Alien Fusion Fragrances. For her Alien Fusion Perfume is a hot and spicy scent with an intense fiery trail and Alien Man Fusion has a leathery, vibrant and addictive scent. My other half was very pleased to have a treat and he really liked the scent.

It’s not often I wear nail varnish however when I saw this Nails Inc Status Ready Varnish I knew I’ll definitely have to try it out. I was surprised with this next product as it’s toothpaste, now I always enjoy trying out new toothpastes but I just didn’t expect it to come in this box. It’s called the Enamel Science Advance Toothpaste by Regenerate and it claims to be a regenerating, strengthening and enamel mineral restoring toothpaste. Boasting unique NR-5 ingredients, it reverses the early enamel erosion process, while also giving you pearly-white teeth and a fresh, minty breath. Deluxe Mini 14ml  worth £2.50, Full-size 75ml worth £10 and it’s available at Look Fantastic.

Next we have a Rose Gold Dust Sheet Mask by Vitamasques, I’m always excited to try out new sheet masks. This one is a Korean face mask made with real gold flakes and nourishing rose extracts to moisturise your skin and leave it with a healthy glow. RRP £5.99 and it’s available at

Ofra x Nikkie Tutorials Highlighter – Glazed Donut

This is a product I’ve been eyeing up for ages and I finally got it! I’ve been trying to find the perfect highlighter which doesn’t leave a cast or be too dark for my pale complexion and this is perfect. I purchased it from Beauty Bay for £25.
